Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box April 2017 Review
Happy Petit Vour unboxing day! It’s time to reveal the goodies from my lil’ hot pink beauty box! If you’re new to Petit Vour (ahem, how is this possible??), it’s a monthly subscription box that comes with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering April’s box is valued at $37) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec.
April’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
Nubian Heritage Body Lotion in Patchouli & Buriti, $3 – I have to be real with y’all, I’m not always the biggest fan of patchouli because it can be pretty loud, but this lotion smells unique, sweet and spicy and I actually really like it… especially the sweet almond undertones (reminds me of marzipan)! Overall, it’s got a masculine vibe, but it’s somewhat unisexy. This lotion is nice and thick, super hydrating, and packed with all-natural, skin-lovin’ butters and oils.
MarieNatie Love Marie Lip Gloss in Tickled, $19 – This lip gloss feels amazing on the lips. It has a perfect, smooth consistency (not sticky, tacky, clumpy, lumpy, etc.) and it has coconut and jojoba oils to help keep smackers nice and moist. Subscribers received one of five shades, and I’m beyond stoked I got ‘Tickled’ (swatched on thumb) – it’s the perfect everyday pink, and it already lives in my purse.
French Girl Organic Nail + Cuticle Oil, $10 – This is my first time using a roll-on cuticle oil. At first, it seemed like it would be hard to apply, but it was surprisingly easy to use (I still think I prefer the brush-on kind, though). This oil has a blend of high potency extracts and essential oils, and its citrus-y rose scent is bomb!
Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Tinted Moisturizing Face Sunscreen, $5 – Conventional sunscreen actually does more harm than good because it’s often loaded with toxic chemicals. This sunscreen/tinted BB cream has SPF 30 and provides light coverage with a matte finish (swatched on thumb). Usually natural sunscreens can be streaky and leave a white residue, but this one doesn’t and it blends in smoothly. I’m seriously considering buying a full size.
Overall impression: There’s great value in this box – $37 worth of goodies for $15 (with free shipping, yassss!). Box faves include the lip gloss, lotion, cuticle oil… and sunscreen… DANG, I guess I loved everything, lol!!
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx
